Father's Day

Unfortunately for Cole he had to spend most of his Father's Day driving home from vacation.  As for his father Ed, he spent the day working.  At least we were able to stop by the fire station on the way out.
I'm bummed this picture is so blurry.  The guys were just standing side by side & Cole's mom Bobbi mentioned they could at least act like they liked each other, so they got goofy!  Boys, always so stubborn!

With the 5 lava rocks and 4 flag stones we brought home from vacation, Cole was anxious to get them out into the yard as soon as we got home.  What a difference a few rocks can make.  Within the next few days we added LED solar lights; and Cole added a colorful brick border around the edge of the lawn.  Lastly, he added the brick around our trees so that I can have some flower gardens.  Now all I need to do if figure out what kind of flowers I want and plant them!  Great job Babe!
